On March 6th and 7th, Saitama Super Arena will witness a moment in history. That particular moment, will be Feudal Japan at the peak of high warfare.
The Feudal Warlord Festival spans the aforementioned two days, with a variety of events and appearances. Voice-actors, musical artists, and warlord fighters (hey, they said it first) gather with a Koei Sengoku (feudal warfare) central theme.
Musical fighters? Warlord artists? Wait…did I say that right? Yes I did! Because musical warlord fighter GACKT will be making special appearances on both days of the festival.
After the success of his role as warlord-villain in feudal Japan, Uesegi Kenshin, for the taiga drama Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan, GACKT has made several appearances at the annual awesome-guys-with-samurai-swords festivals that take place in Japan. Dressed in full Samurai battle-gear, GACKT rode majestically through crowds of people to great applause. GACKT has also given a few of his rockin’ metal masterpieces some of his special feudal touch, with works like Mind Forest, RETURNER, Setsugekka, and ZAN.
It’s only natural then, that we all get on our knees and acknowledge him as the 650 or whatever year old Vampire dragon-incarnate Samurai king that he is.
If you’re lucky enough to be in Saitama on March 6-7, you’ll get the chance to do just that.
